Spring Forward Summer ‘25 “Exploring our Future”: A Season of Growth and Discovery

Spring Forward's Summer ‘25 program was a resounding success, delivering unforgettable experiences to the 705 students registered from 23 elementary schools across the Rock Island-Milan, Moline-Coal Valley, East Moline and Bettendorf Community School Districts.

Students spent their days "Exploring Our Future," diving into hands-on activities that ignited curiosity and helped them imagine exciting career paths.

65 community partners and organizations contributed to making Summer ‘25 a success, turning our program into a vibrant “community” supported experience for students.

STEM Programming came to life thanks to STEAM on Wheels, Putnam Museum, Illinois Extension, and others, keeping the students engaged and immersed in hands-on learning that sparked curiosity and future-ready skills.

The creative spirit was alive and well, thanks to partners like Figge Art Museum and Zay Creatives, who- through a grant award provided by Quad City Arts - guided 360 students in a fantastic canvas painting project.

110 dedicated staff members gave six weeks of their summer to make it all possible. Thanks to their commitment, students received the academic support needed to prevent the “summer slide” and gained access to enriching opportunities they might not otherwise have. Their energy and care helped bring our vision to life.

Thank you to each of our students, families, staff, supporters, and volunteers for helping make Summer 2025 a success. We couldn’t be prouder of the impact and memories created— it was truly unforgettable for our students. At Spring Forward, we’re honored to serve this community and grateful for every moment of learning and growth. And yes, we are already dreaming big for Summer 2026!
