No experience required, just a willingness to jump in and have fun!
STEAM Discovery Days
Held at Rock Island Center for Math and Science
STEAM Discovery Days invites students to explore a wide mix of hands‑on activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity. Our partners at Nahant Marsh, Putnam Museum, Ballet Quad Cities and Figge Art Museum will offer something different each day, giving students the chance to learn, build confidence, and discover new interests in a supportive, engaging environment.
Soccer with Rock Island Parks & Recreation
Held at Rock Island Center for Math and Science
Get ready to score big! Join Spring Forward and Rock Island Parks and Recs for a fun-filled workshop all about soccer. This workshop is the perfect chance for your child to learn and grow their skills on the field. They'll practice fundamental moves, develop their footwork, and most importantly, learn how to work together as a team. Whether they're a future soccer star or just want to have some fun, this workshop will help them build confidence and make new friends while they play.
Swimming Lessons with Rock Island Parks and Recreation
Held at Thomas Jefferson
Lessons are designed for BEGINNING swimmers. Swim Camp brings a focus to water safety and swim skills that are key to progressing into safe, confident swimmers.
*Campers will need to wear proper swimming attire and have dry clothes to change into after lessons. Students are transported from Thomas Jefferson to RIFAC by Spring Forward staff.
