Staff Spotlight: Margo Davis

Welcome our new Program Manager: Margo Davis

Spring Forward is thrilled to welcome Margo Davis who has joined the team as our Program Manager!

She began her journey with Spring Forward nearly 10 years ago as the Summer Site Leader at Earl Hanson Elementary. Since then, she has remained actively involved with the Summer Program, as well as after-school programs at various schools.

Originally from Alabama, Margo and her family lived throughout the United States and Germany during her husband's military career before settling in Rock Island in 2008. Margo's career has long been centered on education, youth development, and community engagement.

She spent seven years with the Lights On For Learning after-school program at Earl Hanson Elementary before joining Spring Forward (part time) years ago, and later served as the school's Family Liaison. She also dedicated more than a decade to the USO at Rock Island Arsenal, progressing from volunteer to Programs Manager and leading programs that supported military children and families.

Looking ahead, Margo “is very proud and excited to be the new Program Manager for Spring Forward and looks forward to working with everyone, building strong relationships, and helping our programs continue to grow and improve.”

We are excited too Margo... and look forward to the lasting impact we will create together!
